Michael Ende was born in the 1970s near the Iron Curtain. His one-man project, FunkyME, explores the full sound spectrum of the electric bass, mixed with electronic music, field recordings and spiced up with some brass- and world sounds. His music is influenced by 30 years of being a musical frontier and always has a funky edge.
He has worked with artists such as Leo Sayer, Orange Blue, and the Nürnberg Symphonic Orchestra. With his former band, Letzte Instanz, he toured for nearly 18 years. Michael has collaborated on 50 albums as a band member, session player, and producer.
